Abstract:

This paper examines the innovation performance of Serbia through the lens of the European Innovation Scoreboard (EIS), a comprehensive. tool for assessing and benchmarking the innovation capabilities of European countries. The paper aims to analyze Serbia’s position within the broader. European context, identify strengths and weaknesses, and provide policy recommendations to enhance its innovation capacity. Using data from the latest EIS reports, the paper evaluates Serbia’s performance across individual EIS indicators and compares Serbia’s performance with regional counterparts, offering insights into the factors. influencing its innovation trajectory. This paper contributes to the understanding of Serbia’s innovation performance.as measured by the EIS, offering a detailed examination of the underlying factors influencing its current status and suggesting possible directions for future improvement.
