Abstract:
In the quicksand of our business world today, the figure of the manager appears like a fulcrum, a character expected to keep the business in balance no matter the circumstances, owing to some special skills and qualities. The ideal manager features a layered personality that brings together a wide variety of qualities and skills, just like in a colorful mosaic. The present paper tries to unveil one by one all the `layers` of the managers` inner structure and to understand how different forms of determinism generate particular features which altogether finally shape an efficient leader.
