Abstract:

As far as the labor market is concerned, the continuous evolution of society leads to an increase in competitiveness and a change in the standards for employment. Professional qualification and training, as a result of training and specialization courses, stand as advantages when finding and getting a job. Young people have to attain the standards required by this new social reality imposed by modern society. The proposed career guidance program is the result of own research and aims to stimulate the motivation of high school graduates or graduates of other forms of education to establish a change in their attitude and behavior as to maximize their chances of social acceptance within the Romanian labor market. The professional counseling and orientation program responds to the needs of young people’s social-professional integration, contributing both to overturning their negative opinions towards labor, responsibility, society, and to facilitating their efforts to occupy a certain role in the community
