Abstract:
Foreign direct investments (FDI) in the conditions of globalization and a dynamic economic environment are gaining the role of a significant lever of economic development. Governments worldwide are making enormous efforts to enhance FDI inflow. One of the mechanisms for attracting them is investment in infrastructure development. The paper explores the impact of infrastructural performance on attracting FDI to the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina (B&H), to ensure greater economic development. The research problem in this paper stems from the fact that B&H has a less developed infrastructure than the neighboring countries, and it is necessary to research the importance of infrastructure development in attracting FDI to the territory of B&H. The research goals are reflected in the impact of the development of road, rail and air transport, as well as the development of electrical networks, telecommunication and Internet traffic, on the inflow of FDI
