Abstract:

In today’s digital era, the tourism industry has undergone a proΒ¬found transformation, with rapid advances in technology revolutionizing the way destinations are marketed, experiences are created, and tourists engage with the destination. The proliferation of interactive digital platforms and solutions has allowed consumers to better understand and engage with the destination they are visiting.
This paper aims to present digital innovations that have an impact on shap¬ing the image of a destination. To achieve this aim, the characteristics of a destination image and the main digital innovations that could be included in creating its positive image are outlined. As a result, effective digital marketing solutions are proposed to be used to build a positive image.
