Biography

Assistant Professor of Business Mathematics at the Department of Business Administration of the University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki, Greece. He received his undergraduate degree in Mathematics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki – Greece (first in class). He completed his graduate education at the Department of Mathematics, University of Ioannina, Greece, receiving an M.Sc. (2001) in Statistics and Operational Research and a Ph.D. (2006) in Operational Research. Dr. Konstantaras’ current research interests lie in operations research, optimization, reverse logistics and supply chain management. Specific applications of interest include mathematical modelling and optimization for inventory control, supply chain and reverse logistics. He has published more than 60 scientific papers in international academic journals, books and conference proceedings, including 44 journal papers in ISI-indexed journals. Since January 2014, he is an Editor in Chief of the International Journal of Systems Science: Operations & LogisticsHe has also served as a referee/reviewer for several international scientific journals and conferences.
